St.Edward’s University science trip

Having first had the pleasure of collaborating with this prestigious Texan university last year in Angers, as part of their studying abroad programme, I was delighted to be asked to cover a special trip to the UK organised for a group of biology students this spring. Essentially based around London, the trip was a fascinating mix of cultural, social and medical history, that included a “clean air” walk around Hampstead, a visit to the Wellcome foundation and a guided tour of Southwark with it’s unique 19th century Operating Theatre and museum.

A big thanks to Christie Campbell of the marketing department, professors Patricia Baynham and Bill Quinn and all the students for being so accessible and easy-going, making my work all the more rewarding.
