It was a real pleasure returning to Chateau de Bois Giraud last Easter Monday to catch up with the Parker family and some of their friends for a “lifestyle shoot”.
I first met sisters Marian and Tanya nearly 7 years ago, when they first contacted me to take some pictures of the Castle, and since then they have steadily built up their business, renting out for holidays to clients from all corners of the world. During this time, this wonderful venue has also served them for their own family getaways and the place has therefore maintained a very friendly, practical and down-to-earth atmosphere. It was this easy-going, playful feeling I aimed to capture with this new set of pictures below.
With the back-story to the running of the Chateau about to be featured in a new Channel Four Series- Escape to the Chateau:DIY– the first episode of which launches today, I trust this exposure and extra publicity will reap benefits for Marian and Tanya, and make sure that their children and future grandchildren will be able to enjoy the good life in France for many years to come !
